Operating under the three keywords, technology, quality and customise, the products will include labels for everyday use, for use in engineering, in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, and other specialised fields, as well as environmentally friendly labels.

One of the product is the new designed bubble-free labelstock that can be easily and neatly applied, and according to Sumio Morimoto, over some the problems of blister. “The labelstock provides a release mechanism for volatile gases commonly found within plastics, preventing the formation of blisters beneath the label.”

The products will be launched in 2016, first in Japan, before it is made available globally. The company is awaiting certain US –based certification for safety of use.

These are premium products and perhaps be priced higher than the normal labels. “We need to closely evaluate total cost, such as merits in terms of quality and function, in particular improving yield effectiveness in the downstream process through use of certain label materials.”

Morimoto added, “The Japanese label printing companies are putting this into practice, and our company is showing products at this expo from this viewpoint.”

In India, Lintec operates as a direct subsidiary from Delhi and Mumbai, primarily specialises in industrial products for automobile like decals; medical applications and some amount of labels. “It’s been only a year, and we are still trying to gain a foothold in the industry. But we hope, on the basis of our products, grow our business.”
