Kodak withdraws from Drupa 2021

Kodak has announced that it has decided to withdraw from Drupa 2021.

The latest big-name withdrawal follows rival Fujifilm, withdrawal from the show.

Making the announcement, Jim Continenza, Executive Chairman, Eastman Kodak Company, said, Kodak’s commitment to the safety of our employees and customers during the Covid-19 pandemic is paramount. “The continued concerns and impacts of the pandemic make it difficult for us to commit resources for such an event in these uncertain times.”

He added, “Kodak will continue to invest in the print industry, doubling down on digital print and delivering the products our customers need to drive productivity and growth as the industry evolves.”

Kodak was due to exhibit along with Miraclon, the company bought Kodak’s flexographic packaging division, showcasing its product lines in the toner and inkjet digital printing kit like NexPress, Prosper, Ultrastream press, its workflow solution and printing plates.
