Kanodia upgrades its Epson proof printer

Kanodia Technoplast has bought a new Epson WT 7900 wide-format printer for upgrading its proofing for flexographic and gravure print jobs requirements.

Rajesh Arora, vice president, Kanodia Technoplast, said: "The new Epson proofer enhances our flexographic and gravure print jobs. We were earlier using an Epson 9800 wide-format printer for our in-house proofing requirement. But we had certain limitation with silver and golden border printing application. To overcome that, and to add the two printing effect in our jobs, we opted for the Epson WT 7900."

The Wazipur-based company in Delhi was established in 1995 while the engraving facility was started in 2006.

The company has two separate facilities for films manufacturing and engraved cylinders production in Wazirpur area. The film manufacturing facility produces 850-ton laminates and films per month.

The company will shortly be opening a new plant at Kundli in Sonipat, Haryana with a 400 ton production capacity of laminates and films per month.

Kanodia Technoplast has a workforce of 200 persons working at its plants.
