DP Innovations announced the introduction of MESH (Merchandising, Ecommerce & Social Host), which will allow Digital Fabric Printing Service Providers (DFPSP) to establish an online business quickly, easily and cost effectively. This will be licensed in two modes - ‘Listed’ or ‘Hosted’.

Steve Smith, owner of DPInnovations, said, "While a ‘Listed’ licensee the DFPSP is listed along with other providers at one of DPInnovations global websites. This shall result in visitors selecting the DFPSP of their choice, a ‘Hosted’ licensee is categorised by DPInnovations first. This means, licensee being displayed directly on DFPSP’s own website."

Smith added, “Developments in printer technology and ink performance mean speed and fabric requirements are no longer the main challenges facing a digital textile printing business, instead it is client sourcing and interaction. MESH provides a complete online solution that links clients requiring a digital fabric printing service with those offering it.”

While a demonstration version of MESH will go live in the third quarter of 2013, DP Innovations confirmed that information would be provided at Inkjet India.

Another highlight at Inkjet India is the development of Print Synergies for success in print management and manufacturing. ‘Print management’ is described as ‘the systematic process of increasing productivity and minimising errors in information capture ; and ensuring the adequacy, business as well as legal, of all historical records’ by BFMA (Business Forms Management Association).

In his blog, Colin Thompson, former successful Managing Director of Print Manufacturing Plants, said, "In short, documents, forms, print management involves elimination of paperwork and an improvement in clerical efficiency. This leads to a reduction in companies expenses, which is substantial work in itself."

Not only does this system helps us to save resources and reduce wastes, but also provides assistance indocument and form analysis, design, address control and distribution. These are the essentials of ‘good print management’.

Inkjet India 2013 is co-presented by DimatixFujifilm and MS Printing Solutions, while its technology partners are Global Inkjet Systems, SII, DP Innovations, Jaysynth, ReggianiMacchine and DGI.

SGTPA joins Inkjet as the supporting association.
