Entrance automation and loading bay equipment manufacturing company Gandhi Automations has received two awards for automation at separate events held in Mumbai and Jaipur.

Robotics/Automation Supplier of the Year Award

The Mumbai-based company has received Automation Industry Leader Award and Robotics/Automation Supplier of the Year Award at events held in Jaipur and Mumbai respectively. The awards were for the company’s automation services for the logistics and supply chain industry.

The company received the Automation Industry Leader 2020 Award at the Trade and Technology Exhibition Conference and Awards organised by TASO, an exhibition company, at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) in Jaipur from 23-25 February 2020.

The second award, Robotics/Automation Supplier of the Year, was conferred on the company at the Manufacturing Supply Chain Summit organised by Future Supply Chain – a supply chain and logistics company. The event was held at The Westin Garden City in Mumbai from 4-5 March 2020.

In a press note shared with WhatPackaging?, Gandhi Automations mentioned, “Automation is a powerful tool and comes in many shapes and forms. In the logistics and supply chain industries, automation is generally used to make gains upon existing processes by improving efficiency, speed, reliability, accuracy and cost savings as it reduces the impact of a labour shortage; thereby keeping the labour cost down.”

Automation Industry Leader Award

The company, which started its operations in 1996, was formed with the directors’ vision to cater to the rolling shutter industry in India by bringing automation into it. The company claims that the idea was one that was pioneered by its directors in India. “Through years of hard work, innovation, commitment to quality and reliable customer service, Gandhi Automations is now manufacturing all kinds of entrance automation solutions and loading bay technology meeting world class standards,” the company stated.

The company has claimed to have achieved a 70% market share in the industry.

In a press note, the company stated, “We have further upgraded our systems by moving on to Artificial Intelligence. Our products are now being designed with sophisticated systems, which can be integrated with building management systems.”
