Gallus announces its Print Shop concept for Labelexpo Europe at LMAI Conference

Gallus, the Swiss manufacturer of narrow web flexo presses has announced its plans for the upcoming Labelexpo Europe 2013 during the recently concluded Label Manufacturers Association of India (LMAI) conference.

Gallus will be using its Gallus Print Shop concept to demonstrate how the benefits of digital and conventional printing methods can be combined to produce labels time-saving and more cost-effectively.

Christof Naier of Gallus, said, “The Gallus Print Shop at Labelexpo will feature the new Gallus ECS 340 with the “Plus” update package, the Linoprint L digital drop-on-demand system from Heidelberg with the Gallus ECS C digital finishing solution, and the Gallus EM 430 S with the high-tech short-web concept. Gallus will also be demonstrating the benefits of LED UV drying technology on the Gallus EM 280 using the latest UV LED inks from Siegwerk.”

Gallus ECS 340 – with the 200th machine soon to be installed since its launch in 2009, will be equipped with the highly cost-effective “Plus” update package.

Meanwhile, Gallus has installed 70 presses in India in which EM280 press tops the list with more than 55 installations.
