Dscoop South Asia Summit in Goa

Dscoop South Asia Summit is scheduled for 9-10 February at the Holiday Inn in Candolim in Goa. Two companies in Mumbai, ArtNext/Nexibles and Silverpoint Press will host tours to their facilities on 7 February.

The Dscoop South Asia Summit is open to HP Indigo press owners, and is an opportunity to meet other printers with similar goals and challenges. A Dscoop spokesperson said, “Throughout the Summit, you can share ideas and talk openly with fellow printers who are aiming to grow and improve their businesses.”

The agenda for the Dscoop South Asia Summit is designed to help HP Indigo press owners in the region grow sales while also improving their marketing and management tactics. Dscoop has identified five speakers who will blend education and inspiration for the event in Goa. The speakers are: Prof Parag Shah (keynote speaker), who is the founder and chief mentor of MIDAS (Management, Innovation, Design, Arts & Social Sciences), an institute dedicated to creating and building an ecosystem for entrepreneurs. He's also the founding chairman of Flame University (India’s first liberal arts university) and founder of former SNAP photo finishing labs.

The other four speakers are:  Marco Perlman (speaker B to C business), who is the founder of an on-demand personalisation company Digipix, and a highly valued advisor and consultant to business leaders. Then there are three panellists: Laurensius Candra, director of Bintang Sempurna, one of the most reputed printing companies in Indonesia; Vimal Parmar, a renowned entrepreneur, educator, printing evangelist and photographer who has helped countless marketing teams seize growth opportunities and Achal Jain,  managing director and CEO of FineArt Digital Imaging, who has thrived in the photo and digital commercial print industry for 40 years.

The focus on 9 February is business growth strategy and mentoring managers. After which there are sessions on photo business – B to C success path; packaging business and sustainability; and automation in commercial business.

The focus on 10 February is a panel discussion about print growth opportunities and ideas that can fuel growth with the Dscoop Board Members. After which there is a peek into the future with HP Digital Innovations.
