Drupa 2024: Imprint and Orange sign up for Fogra

Two Indian print firms - Imprint Technopack, Bengaluru and Orange Printers, Thiruvananthapuram - signed a Fogra PSO Certification at the Fogra stand at Drupa.

The Fogra PSO Certification agreement was signed on 31 May, the at Fogra stand at Drupa by Shekar Balakrishna, managing director of Imprint Technopack as well as Roy Thomas and Sajith BS, managing director and director of Orange Printers along with Kulakkada Pradeep of Future Schoolz, the Fogra PSO Partner from India, and Jürgen Gemeinhardt, Head of Printing Techniques at Fogra, Germany.

As per a press note shared by Future Schoolz, "The Fogra PSO certification is an independent confirmation that the offset print production processes are of the highest standard." Fogra is a highly respected, not-for-profit scientific research institute for the printing and media industries with a legacy of more than 73 years.

Commenting on the occasion, Prof Rajendrakumar Anayath said, "I am happy to note Imprint Technopack and Orange Printers have grown to such a level in a short span of time. Both companies will inspire thousands of printers in this country to opt for Fogra PSO certification to prove that India has arrived in the global print stage with a bang."
