“Installed in February this year, this compact and highly advanced digital spot UV system has changed the way we add spot UV effects and textured finishes to graphic prints,” Rithik Khokhar, director of Devendra Photostat & Lamination, said. “We have to further explore the advanced features and capabilities of this digital UV print embellishment system for unique applications.”

Devendra Photostat & Lamination, as its name reflects, was a mere reprographic shop when it started its operation in 1996, founded by Devendra Singh Khokhar. Over the last three decades, the print shop has rapidly upgraded its production setup with constant installations of high-end presses & post-press machines of different technologies and configurations.

From 2011 onward, Devendra Photostat & Lamination made constant investments in high-end production presses and finishing equipment. Key presses and machines in the company’s current production setup are from Komori, Heidelberg, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, among others, across the offset and digital portfolios.

“In addition to offset and commercial, we also engage in digital large-format printing for which a Pixeljet solvent system, yet another Made in India machine from Monotech Systems, plays the key role,” Khokhar said.

He added, “Our partnership with Monotech Systems dates back more than a decade. It started when we first purchased a Konica Minolta digital press, and then followed by a Dumor print finishing machine, a Ricoh Pro C7200X digital colour production press, and now the latest one is the PixelGlow Lumina, UV print enhancement printer.”

With a complete range of presses and post-press machines, Devendra Photostat & Laminations offers the widest range of end-products and applications encompassing catalogues, booklets, leaflets, flyers, brochures, pamphlets, calendars, mailers, business cards, labels, packaging boxes, outdoor billboards, wall-posters, etc.

According to Khokhar, the company engages in specialty and security printing of certificates and marksheets for schools, colleges and universities, produced colourfully and stunningly beyond the CMYK gamut. Maa Shakambhari University (Saharanpur), Arunachal University of Studies (Namsai), and Sabarmati University (Ahmedabad), among many others, are some of the key and longstanding clients of Devendra Photostat & Lamination.

With a team of 60 skilled graphic design and printing professionals, Devendra Photostat & Lamination meets the needs of every bit of demand from diverse clients from different sectors, businesses, and walks of life. “We are capable of fulfilling what our clients want to the fullest because of the machines we own and our team’s dedication. In rhythm with the changing marking trends and demands, we maintain a tradition of constantly upgrading our machine portfolio and manpower. The recent installation of the PixelGlow Lumina is part of the tradition.”

The PixelGlow Lumina is capable of operating at the speed of 60 sheets per hour, handling paper sizes up to 14x20-inch, to embellish graphics in a resolution of 600x600-dpi. “We are grateful to Monotech Systems for this embellishment marvel and their dedicated post-sales support. We look forward to strengthening our partnership further, with more machines,” Khokhar concluded.
