The atmosphere in Hall three at Pamex 2026 shifted remarkably this year as the trade show opened to an immediate and focused crowd at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. Santhosh KP of Delta E observed that the initial hours, which typically see a slow build-up of general foot traffic, were instead populated by high-level decision-makers. Rather than the usual influx of operators or casual observers, the floor was dominated by company owners and vital stakeholders, signalling a shift toward purposeful, investment-driven attendance at Pamex.

The company is currently showcasing its preset and closed-loop software designed to automate printing machine functions, alongside high-precision print inspection software that facilitates electronic PDF-to-PDF and PDF-to-scan comparisons. Complementing these digital solutions is a range of hardware, including spectrodensitometers, plate readers, and pure densitometers.

The packaging sector has emerged as the most prominent demographic among the attendees this year in Mumbai. Santhosh KP noted that these customers are specifically seeking robust solutions for colour control and consistency throughout the entire production cycle. The demand for electronic inspection for proof approval has also been a major talking point, as printers look to eliminate human error in the approval process.

While the preset and closed-loop systems are categorised as essential for any commercial printer, they have become a must-buy for those in the pharmaceutical and corporate packaging niches. These high-end products are no longer viewed as luxuries but as necessities for maintaining the rigorous standards required by global brands. The success of this targeted engagement is already reflected in the sales figures at the event, with Delta E finalising a deal for its Tec 4 Check inspection system and two additional deals for its preset and closed-loop software within the opening days of the show.
