Dainik Bhaskar restructures corporate sales team

DB Corp, home to flagship newspapers Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Marathi and Saurashtra Samachar, has announced key restructuring in corporate sales and marketing division.

Reema Datta, who has been instrumental in leading Delhi – Gurgaon till date, has been moved to Bangalore with immediate effect as Head South to strengthen the South team and drive deeper customer connect. She will spearhead the southern team from Bangalore to cater markets in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Datta has been associated with Dainik Bhaskar group since 2008 working in various lead sales roles in Delhi-NCR. Datta said, “I am quite excited about the new role and looking it as a great opportunity to expand my boundaries and to explore and learn in south region. With all fruitful experience gained in Northern market over a long period of time, I am looking forward to connect with southern customers. I wish I will have gainful engagement for the organisation, partners and self.”

Atul Talegaonkar, who is currently leading the Gurgaon Commercial team, has been promoted as Head for Delhi-Gurgaon and will take over charge from Reema Datta. He has been associated with Dainik Bhaskar group for over 17 years and has worked in various roles during his tenure with the company.

Talegaonkar said, “I am thankful to the management for reposing faith in me. My vast experience in the industry will help me to contribute in this new role and as a team we are committed to deliver despite current challenging economic environment.”
