Canpac Trends is expanding its manufacturing prowess by finalising an equipment deal with Zhongke India during the Pamex 2026 exhibition in Mumbai. The Ahmedabad-headquartered packaging giant has commissioned five sets of die-cutters, engineered to streamline the processing of three-ply and five-ply corrugated jobs. This strategic investment underscores Canpac's commitment to technological superiority as it navigates a phase of national expansion.
The agreement was solidified on the show floor between the Canpac leadership team and Rohit Rajpal, director of Zhongke India. "By opting for the bottom suction feeder configuration, Canpac aims to eliminate common bottlenecks in corrugated production, ensuring faster production and precision for its increasingly complex structural designs," said Rajpal.
This technical upgrade arrives amidst growth for the company, which recently reported a revenue of INR 404-crore for the 2025 fiscal year. The five new die-cutters will complement a broader infrastructure roadmap that includes the upcoming greenfield plant in Indore and recently inaugurated facilities in Noida and Hyderabad.
The integration of these five Zhongke units into Canpac’s seven-unit production network will provide the necessary throughput to support its 21% compound annual growth rate. The addition of specialised die-cutting technology ensures that the company’s expanded footprint is matched by operational efficiency.
