The machine and the software have been running on the company shopfloor since 2018.

Sumeet Goel, director of Boxify said, “There has been a major boost to our operations since we invested in the Picador software. Using Picador, we can create designs in 2D or 3D. The efficiency of the Picador software has resulted in faster turnaround of jobs and ultimately our press is running at full potential.”

Few of the applications of Picador includes structural and parametric 2D CAD drawing geometry, 3D automatic folding, 3D product/packaging assembly, 3D animation, palletisation and automatic layout/imposition.

Bijoy Roy, marketing director of Orange O Tec, said, “The KoloRado digital cutting machine is equipped with modularised cutting tools, which enables us to provide good sample cutting solutions.”

KoloRado digital cutter is capable of routing composites, automotive interior, tent, inflatable, membrane, signage and graphics, packaging, and gaskets.

According to Orange O Tec, a few more installations are in the pipeline in Mumbai and Delhi.
