IndiaCorr opens a huge portal for the corrugation industry to connect with peers and customers, exchange ideas, and explore new ways to solve the evolving challenges of the industry.

Being the dedicated expo for the corrugated board industry, all stakeholders, including solution providers, raw material suppliers, and machinery manufactures, will be present at the show.

Bobst has been associated with ICCMA and IndiaCorr for years. Its association with ICCMA has enabled the company to work closely with industry stakeholders and collectively address many challenges faced by the Indian corrugation industry.
The company’s main focus will be its Made in India FFG Nova range and talks around the upcoming VisionFFG range. Bobst will be showcasing all its product offerings through digital mediums, with the sales and service teams present.
Venugopal Menon of Bobst shared about the company’s offerings. Bobst’s die-cutters and folder gluer range can address the need for die-cutters and glued boxes. For brown and multicolour RSC boxes (with or without a die-cutter), we have Bobst Lyon (FFG 820 / FFG 924NT/1228NT). And for mid-range to address 90% of the market needs, Bobst has established a new factory in Pune, wherein the complete FFG Case maker will be made in India.

Bobst’s Venugopal Menon is optimistic about the way the corrugation industry is moving forward. He shared with us, “We foresee exponential growth in consumption across FMCG, eCommerce, electronics, and food products. This surge in demand will directly translate into higher requirements for corrugated packaging as more goods are produced, shipped, and delivered.”

He said that the recently introduced GST reform bill will simplify the taxation process and introduce only tax slabs. This will move many consumer products from the 12% to 5% slab, helping stimulate consumption demand, which will in turn boost the packaging industry.

According to Bobst, some of the trends shaping the corrugated packaging industry in 2025 are automation, lightweighting, die-cut boxes, minimal dependency on labour, and JIT deliveries. Menon said, “Many manufacturing companies are setting up shops across the country. Hence, the need for corrugated boxes with optimum quality and cost will become the need of the hour.”

He continued, “We work closely with suppliers, customers, and industry leaders to develop solutions that set new standards, expand our technology reach, and shape the future of packaging. From the way we design our equipment to how we cooperate with partners, our approach prioritises responsible production, lower environmental impact, and safer and more efficient working conditions.”
