Print Summit 2026 opened on 4 February with a call for the Indian print and packaging industry to stay “unstoppable” through resilience, adaptability and leadership with purpose, as businesses face volatile markets and rising expectations.

Kicking off the summit, Tushar Bhotica, president of the Bombay Master Printers Association, welcomed delegates and said their presence reflects a shared commitment to the sector’s progress and future. He credited partners and participants for helping the summit grow into a credible industry platform.

Reinforcing the theme Be Unstoppable, Bhotica said the phrase is rooted in current realities. “Not because the path ahead is easy, but because the times demand resilience, adaptability and leadership with purpose,” he said.

As he did in his last address, quoting lines popularised in the film Agneepath, “तू न थकेगा कभी, तू न थमेगा कभी,  तू न मुड़ेगा कभी, Bhotica stressed perseverance and clarity of purpose. The words, he said, are not momentary motivation but a principle for an industry that must continue moving forward without hesitation.

He noted that change is now constant. Markets are volatile, technologies are evolving and customer expectations are rising. In such an environment, he said, being unstoppable “does not merely mean moving faster, it means moving smarter, stronger and with intent.”

Bhotica highlighted print’s role as a quiet enabler across education, healthcare, commerce and culture. Even when unnoticed, he said, the industry’s impact remains “omnipresent and indispensable,” describing printers as present “here, there and everywhere.”

He also emphasised the importance of balance. There are moments for acceleration and moments for reflection, he said, adding that the ability to pause and recalibrate is “not a sign of retreat, but preparation for sustained growth.”

On the practical front, Bhotica announced the launch of StockLaabh, a BMPA member exclusive digital platform designed to address real operational needs. He said the initiative reflects the association’s focus on understanding member requirements and delivering technology driven solutions.

Linking growth with responsibility, he said printers and packaging firms are enablers of communication, commerce and credibility, and must remain accountable to society, sustainability and future generations.

Closing his address, Bhotica framed success around the acronym RACE, urging delegates to move ahead with “resilience, agility, courage and ethics” and to carry the spirit of being unstoppable into both business and life.
