A print technologist by training, Anil Madule, senior business development leader at Pratham Technologies, managed the company's US operations and had been associated with it for nearly a decade. He was survived by his parents, wife, and two children.
Born in Mohol near Solapur, Madule studied at Government Polytechnic College in Beed before completing his engineering at SIES Graduate School of Technology in Navi Mumbai. He began his career at Webtech Labels and later joined Pratham Technologies, initially working in Quality Control, where he developed expertise in flexographic inks and print processes.
Rushikesh Aravkar, ex-PrintWeek team and Madule’s engineering college classmate, said his approach to work had been consistent from the start. “Anil never looked for shortcuts. He believed in learning things properly and building confidence through work,” Aravkar said.
Madule later moved into sales and business development at Pratham Technologies and remained with the company for ten years, working closely with pharma converters across India.
“People didn’t see him as a salesperson,” Aravkar added. “They saw him as someone who stayed involved when something went wrong.”
His responsibilities expanded over time, culminating in his role overseeing Pratham Technologies’ US operations, where he supported the establishment of demo facilities and customer support structures.
Varad Deshpande of Pratham Technologies, said, “Anil was more than a team member at Pratham. He embodied the spirit of the organisation, and his commitment touched everyone who worked with him.”
