AGI Greenpac EBITDA up by 52% in Q1FY24

AGI Greenpac, a focused packaging products company, has announced its financial results for the quarter ending 30 June 2023.

Profit before tax stood at Rs 85-crore, registering a remarkable growth of 55% on a year-on-year basis with margins of 15%

The company's revenue from operations increased by 7% on a year-on-year basis, increasing from Rs 522-crore in Q1FY23 to Rs 558-crore in Q1FY24, despite a scheduled furnace shutdown for relining. The company delivered EBITDA of Rs 140-crore, registering a significant growth of 52% on a year-on-year basis with a margin of 25%. 

Profit before tax stood at Rs 85-crore, registering a remarkable growth of 55% on a year-on-year basis with margins of 15%.

On a year-over-year basis, the company’s sales and profitability improved owing to increased market demand, a more favourable product mix, and its focus on high-value-added products. Additionally, substantial investments in digitalisation and automation have further optimised operations, significantly improving efficiency.
