After jury day, all eyes on Awards Night

Winners will be revealed on the PrintWeek Awards night on 2 November (Wednesday) at the Grand Hyatt, Santacruz East, Mumbai. The Indian print and packaging industry will join forces for the first time in almost two-and-a-half years for the Awards Night. More than 350 VIP guests will doff their hats to the work to celebrate the sector’s brightest and best. It's a formal sit down dinner with a special "print and packaging" cuisine.

Kalpak Shah, the senior executive - awards and events said, "The Awards Night returns to the Hyatt after a gap of a few years." Sudhanshu Vats, the deputy managing director at Pidilite Industries is the chief guest of the PrintWeek Awards celebrations. Luke Kenny, the Indian actor, music creator and former VJ is the host for the evening.
 
Most of the 112 print and packaging firms, who submitted their Award entries, have turnovers from Rs 10-crore to Rs 5,000-crore. This includes top print firms (national and international).

As PrintWeek readers are aware, PrintWeek’s Jury Day for the PrintWeek Awards 2022 was held at Hilton Sahar in Mumbai on 28 September 2022. Juries from different streams of printing and packaging sector scrutinised the trove of packaging and print marvel sent by the contestants.

The tally was: 112 companies, 362 entries, 1000-plus samples and 25 Jury members.

Following the Jury Day process, the PrintWeek team crunched numbers to announce the finalists in the October issue of PrintWeek.
