Parksons Packaging wins Packaging Company of the Year - Folding Cartons (Large volumes)

In March 2023, the company added Gujarat-based MK Printpack to its group. MK Printpack is one of the top producers of folding cartons, catering to pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, home and personal care, toys and the electrical industry through its three manufacturing facilities in Gujarat, Daman, and Haridwar.

A few days later, in April 2023, Parksons acquired Baddi-based Fortuner Packaging, which manufactures folding cartons primarily catering to pharmaceutical, home and personal care, and automobile customers through its two manufacturing facilities in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

During 2023, Parksons’ gross sales and profits increased, as did the fixed asset, which grew by 25.05%.

With the acquisitions (including its subsidiaries), Parksons has thirteen manufacturing facilities across Daman, Chakan, Pantnagar, Guwahati, Sri City, Goa, Punjab, Haridwar, Baddi and Gujarat.

Parksons’ acquisition strategy has been clear – to provide more value to its customers and enhance its ability to serve clients efficiently across the country, giving the company access to new growth opportunities.

In May 2021, US-based private equity firm Warburg Pincus’ acquired a majority stake in Parksons Packaging.
