Women in Print: Dhara Patel

Dhara Patel is a business development manager at Seven 11 industries. She has spent more than five years in the screen printing industry. In her spare time, she likes to read and travel. She is a believer in hard work and feels there is no alternative to it.

Why did you get into printing?
After completion of my Masters in Textiles, I joined as a technical executive at Zydex industries, textile printing inks division which is located in my home town, Vadodara.
 
Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Karishma Kapoor.
 
What is your favourite TV programme?
Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma.
 
What is your favourite phrase or saying?
God helps those who help themselves.
 
Who is your favourite singer?
Kishore Kumar.
 
What is your greatest luxury in life?
Shopping.
 
What’s your greatest fear?
Loneliness.
 
Who would you like to be stuck on a desert island with?
My husband.
 
Which superpower would you like to have?
I would like a magic stick to eradicate all corruption, inequality, and poverty from country.
 
What is the worst kind of print?
All print jobs that lead to pollution.
 
What was your childhood obsession? Dancing.
 
How would you like to be remembered? As a good human being.
 
Life is…
Like sand in hand. You do not know when it could slip off. So utilise 100% percent of your time and give your best.
