What is the name of your press?
MKV Offset Press, Kohima.

What happened when the PM announced the lockdown?
All orders were put on hold.

Did you shut down your factory?
Yes.

How did you inform your staff? And what did you inform them?
We told them to expect a salary cut in the months the press is shut.

Anyone who was Covid Positive ...?
No.

When did you start printing again?
In August 2020.

What did you print?
Receipt books and all types of cards.

How much of your capacity are you utilising now?
Two-thirds.

What is happening to the print industry in Kohima?
It is shutting down.

Any supplier or trader who has been huge support?
Not really.

What made you smile in these tough times?
When print jobs started returning to Kohima. 

Your worst moment?
Reduced staff strength.

Where does your press stand now?
Still in transition.
