Experiencing the print world during IPMEX 2013 in Beijing when I was nine years old.
One way print can change the world?
I foresee that 3D printing will revolutionise the world. It has the potential to regularise the production of goods, from food to pharmaceutical supplies.
How can digital printing help in boosting creativity and consumer connection through packaging?
Digital printing for packaging is now a part of innovative marketing. It is a strategy that elevates customer loyalty and extension-revenue. Perhaps, one of the most successful campaigns that witnessed how digital printing showcased creativity and enhanced consumer connection through packaging was Coca Cola’s Share a Coke campaign.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I spearheaded the implementation of an AI-based automated planning printing ERP system powered by Indus Analytics for my company, as a part of the business development strategy. It took me six months to study various modules, and implement an ERP module which best suits our organisation.
Which is the most innovative packaging that you have come across?
Food Packaging. Following the phenomenal surge in demand for take-away and delivery service from eateries during this pandemic, there have been a lot of innovative food packaging ideas coming up in the industry to attract customers.
Social media has become the newest way of promoting packaging innovations or learning about the newest trends in packaging. Why?
According to statistics, 90.71% of mobile internet users are active on social media. This is reflective of the crucial role played by social media in influencing consumer preferences and loyalty. Cognisant of this reality, we ourselves have established a new unit known as DevTech to study market trends and provide innovative solutions for our clientele, encompassing web design, social media marketing, corporate branding and reputation management.
