Bengaluru’s Magnum Label manufacture labels for Amrut Distilleries won the Blue Ink Media – Sprintz 2017 awards. Obviously, the director of Magnum, V Raja is a delighted man.

“It’s a feather in our cap. We brought in our first new narrow-web press, the Gallus EM 280 in 2013, and have since been doing well,” said Raja.

On his third visit to Labelexpo Europe, Raja said, “We booked our first Gallus during the 2013 edition, my first visit.” He continued, “The existing EM 280 is an eight-colour UV press, with two die-station and cold foiling. We are now looking for a higher model, perhaps a 10-colour with Screeny or a press that will enable me to print decorative labels.”

Raja is particularly impressed with the foil samples from Foil Industry. “I think the quality of the gold foiling is pretty good. I am carrying samples back home, and am keen to use the product for my work,” concluded Raja.
