Esko
If it's flexo, and it's Belgium, it has to be Esko. Highlights at stand 4C20 is the Esko Software Suite 14, which Esko says is “the most complete collection of pre-production software tools available in the market”. A good time to look at the Esko Automation Engine, a modular workflow server with workflows that sets a new standard for pre-press workflow automation with quality control plus the features in WebCenter.

Kumar Labels
Noida-based Kumar Labels with its HassleFree technologies is attracting eye balls. The offline semi/full rotary re-register die-cutting system, NB-330 enables the use of one common magnetic cylinder for multiple repeat sizes. The company with its Make in India theme has sold eight machines in overseas market and will be opening its account in India soon.

MPS Systems
There are three reasons to visit the MPS at their stall 11C20. To spot the live demos of the new hybrid EF SYMJET every hour; plus the EF Neo. Get the details about MPS partnership with Domino. And to relish the happy hours with live music from 5 pm to 6 pm.

Xeikon
It was a packed house at the Xeikon press conference. Xeikon's Fweymans spoke about Fusion technology as well as high-end labels in one pass, one platform, controlled by one single DFE, the X-800. One of the 52 digital devices that have been showcased at the show, to watch out for.

X-Rite
The unique new light booth solution at the XRite stand at Labelexpo is very useful. The basic principle is five light sources, that allows users to easily switch between D50 lighting for print and D65 for industrial applications. Very handy to evaluate incoming materials, samples and final products for colour consistency and physical defects. USP: Do catch the ink formulation workshops at the stall from 11 am and 3 pm.
