Hall 6, Stand A59

Baumann-Wohlenberg will debut three new cutting systems for different levels of production. The first line, for medium volumes, features automatic front-table feeding and a new automatic cutting system with lateral alignment pusher and a sheet stabiliser. It uses a BA3 unloader with automatic format recognition and a new automatic BASA 3 jogging system.

Bobst
Hall 10, Bobst A04

When it comes to shelling out money on high capital-cost finishing kit, Bobst Group hopes customers will focus on total cost of ownership (TCO) for printing and converting machinery. As part of this philosophy, it will also present machines that it says will “reduce waste and set-up time, and increase accuracy and output”.

CP Bourg
Hall 13, Stand B69

If you’re in Hall 13, make sure to check out Bourg’s CMT 330 three-knife trimmer. It has been designed for finishing on-demand digital printing, and handles soft-cover, perfect bound books at up to 400 books per hour. The CMT 330 is fully automatic, but can be manually controlled. It is possible to connect the CMT 330 in-line with the Bourg Binder BB3002.

Duplo International
Hall 13, Stand B53
In the world of cutting, Duplo’s solution is the DC-745 with Integrated Folding System. This multi-finishing machine was recently released and is targeting high-volume digital colour printers. It has integrated controls in one pass for slitting, cutting, creasing and perforating in two directions, and can slit-score greetings cards.

Claimed to be the world’s first flat-bed diecutter for sheets up to 760x600mm, it will be demonstrated with a hot foil stamping system and a universal chase for dies of all sizes. Applications include cutting, creasing, perforating, kiss-cutting, cold embossing, hot foil stamping, combined embossing and hot foil, and hologram stamping.

Lasermax Roll Systems
Hall 6, Stand C74

New at Drupa 2012 will be the Lasermax Roll Stack 2220 system, which includes the Cutter c22 and Stacker s20. It features dual rotary knives for variable strip cutting at speeds up to 450ft/min. The double strip cut is used to remove cleaning lines from many inkjet printers or to create documents with bleed edges. The system can operate inline or offline with digital printers.

Morgana Systems
Hall 8b, Stand A65

Morgana will demonstrate several bookletmakers and trimmers, including the new DocuMaster MFC booklet system, as well as business card cutters/slitters for short-run digital print applications.
