How is it manufactured?
Manufacturing process is similar to conventional SF ink and changes are basically in the formulation part.

Where is it manufactured?
This product is being manufactured at Sakata Bhiwadi plant in Rajasthan.

What’s the function?
This SF ink is suitable for printing the non-food contact surface of food packaging made of paper and board. This ink does not contain any mineral oils and driers. Therefore, aldehydes being generated during the oxidation drying process does not form. These aldehydes are responsible for changing organoleptic behaviour of food items.

We launched this product recently and have started trials in India.

How green is the ink?
This ink is 100% based on vegetable oils and its derivatives. This ink is more renewable than normal VOC-free Inks.

What is the environmental impact of your product?
Since this ink is based on the vegetable oils, it reduces CO2 emission as per the concept of carbon neutral. It also prevents volatile organic contents from entering the environment.

What makes it unique?
All the raw materials of this ink are carefully selected to provide a safe packaging from the ink side. HP-Evolve does not contain any mineral oils, but still has a faster setting property. This ink does not contain any driers to support oxidation drying as well.

Who should choose it?
Any SF printers who are doing printing jobs and want to comply with food packaging requirements. Colour of HP-Evolve is compliant to ISO 2846-1 and the ink is suitable for the print process as per ISO 12647- 2.

Where do you source pigments, resins, oils, organic chemicals, solvents and additives for this product?
We are using both domestic as well as imported raw materials in the manufacturing of this product.However, we are always in our endeavour to develop local vendors to meet our requirements. 

What other grades are offered by your company?
We cater various categories of inks to our customers such as spray powder-free inks (no or less spray powder required by printer), volatile content-free inks, various grades of publications and packaging inks and coatings such as oil-based, water-based and UV coatings.

Is it expensive?
Use of specialised raw materials makes it a little bit costly as compared to conventional SF ink.
