On the morning of 27 January 2026, at 9.30am, the gates of NESCO Grounds, Goregaon West, Mumbai will open for the inauguration of Pamex 2026. This edition has been shaped by a simple yet powerful belief. The progress of our industry has always been driven by printers themselves.
As chairperson of Pamex 2026, I take great pride in sharing that this year’s inauguration ceremony will reflect exactly that spirit. Pamex has long been India’s most important platform for the print and packaging industry. But Pamex 2026 carries a deeper purpose. It is an opportunity to celebrate the strength, resilience, and evolution of Indian printers, while bringing global technology and sustainable innovation into sharper focus.
Our theme this year, ‘Future in Focus’, is a reminder that the industry’s next chapter will be defined by how well we balance technology and sustainability. Automation, intelligent workflows, connected manufacturing, and data driven production are transforming how print businesses operate. At the same time, responsible material usage, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental accountability are no longer optional. They are essential. Pamex 2026 stands at this intersection of performance and purpose.
To mark this edition, we felt it was only fitting that the inauguration should be led by those who represent the very heart of our industry. India’s leading print entrepreneurs. We have invited five of the country’s most respected printing press owners, whose journeys reflect excellence, scale, innovation, and long term vision. Their presence is not symbolic. It is a statement that the industry’s progress is built on real production experience and the ability to adapt.
We are honoured to welcome Mr Ramesh Kejriwal, chairman, Parksons Packaging, Rajendra Jain, chairman, Vijayshri Packaging, Lokesh Agarwal, Miracle Offset, Gautam Agarwal, managing director and CEO, Ansapack, and Khushru Patel, CMD, Jak Printers.
Each of these leaders has built an enterprise that demonstrates what Indian printing can achieve when manufacturing discipline, technology adoption, and customer focus come together. Their participation at the inauguration reinforces Pamex’s identity as an industry platform built on capability, not just exhibition scale.
Equally important to Pamex’s strength is the support of our industry associations. Pamex has always been a collaborative effort, and this edition continues that tradition with the presence of senior association leaders who guide, represent, and unify our fraternity.
We are privileged to welcome Jaiveer Singh, president, IPAMA, Mustafa Kapadia, president, Screen Printers Association of India, Niket Shah, president, ICPMA, C Ravinder Reddy, president, AIFMP, and Mehul Desai, honorary general secretary, AIFMP. Their collective presence reflects a shared commitment to strengthening India’s print ecosystem through knowledge sharing, advocacy, and industry alignment.
Pamex 2026 also continues to deepen its international engagement. Printing is a global industry, and cross border collaboration in technology, training, and market development is increasingly important.
This year’s inauguration will be enriched by the presence of international industry leaders including Katsuhisa Asari, managing director, Konica Minolta India, Janaka Rathnakumara, president, Sri Lanka Association of Printers, Mr Peter Park, head of international department, Korean Printers Association, and Mr Johny Fernando, chairman, International Chamber of Commerce, Sri Lanka.
Their participation reflects the growing recognition of India as a key global hub for print manufacturing, packaging production, and technology adoption. It also signals the opportunities that emerge when we view the industry through a wider lens, one that includes collaboration, exchange of best practice, and shared progress.
But perhaps the most important aspect of Pamex 2026 is its underlying message. The future of print is being shaped not by speculation, but by action. By investing ahead of demand. By adopting automation and data intelligence. By embedding sustainability into everyday production. And by building partnerships that go beyond transactional relationships.
The inauguration on 27 January will therefore mark more than the opening of an exhibition. It will mark a collective commitment by Indian printers to lead the next era of print responsibly, intelligently, and confidently.
I look forward to welcoming the industry to NESCO Grounds, and to an edition of Pamex that truly embodies its identity —
Of the printers. For the printers. By the printers.
