When was the machine launched?

2008

Who is it targeted at?

Broadly at all the big size screen printers engaged in spot UV on job work basis, ceramic decal manufacturers, heat transfer manufacturers, automobile decal/stickers manufacturers and offset and packaging printers who also offer value addition.

What are the available configurations and sizes?

20x 30Inch and 30 x 40inch – swing cylinder press.

What is the USP of the press?

Accuracy with speed and the machine is very easy to operate. Even one skilled operator can manage the press since it is fully automatic with auto-stacking (pick up at starting point and stack at online delivery end in case of an UV attachment). It is also attached with sticky roller so that the sheets are cleansed of dust etc, before automatically getting fed into printing.

What is the speed?

Upto 3000 impressions per hour

How about productivity?

Combining an UV curing machine or wicket dryer with fully automatic cylinder press is an economical proposition for volume production.Usually a semi- automatic machine, requiring little more manpower than automatic press, can deliver upto 800-1000 impressions per hour which is not feasible in case printers require volume production.

How flexible is the machine?

The machine is built such that an ideal gap is maintained between the print substrates and the screen both in front and behind the squeegee and off contact is also set to a bare minimum, which eliminates lifting of screen, an otherwise uneasy peel off mechanism thereby avoiding straining the screen and image distortion.

Can the machine be custom built as per the customer’s requirement? (with regards toperfecting, automation, software etc)

Cylinder Press is a standalone machine, hence when a stacker or a drying system such as wicket dryer or UV curing machine is attached, customers can synchronise it to their production process.

How easy is it to use?

The PLC control system, makes operating this machine very easy.

What training/service support is on offer?

Graphics offers comprehensive onsite training. Besides, Grafica hosts regular free workshops and hands on training at DMI.

How many installations worldwide? In India?

It’s a big number in India and couple of presses in Middle East.
