More than a decade in the industry, Todi aims to make Canpac a 360 degree committed company. A step toward this is their latest expansion plan in Bavla with a Rs 21-crore investment in a 40,000 sq/ft space and machinery.

When did you decide to join the business?
My foray in the print industry was in the year 1995.

What is your greatest print / business achievement to date?
There are many, but the Emerging Company Award from Godrej stands out.

What technology has made the biggest difference to your business? The best break-through in print technology in the past hundred years.
UV printing has made the biggest difference to our business and is also the best break-through in print technology in the past hundred years.

What do you prefer: a mentor in the industry or brain storming with like-aged?
Brain-storming.

The most frequently used mantra in your organisation? Your motto in life?
Mantra:
Pursue excellence by setting trends.

Motto: To make Canpac a 360 degree committed company.

If you won Rs 25 crores what would you invest in? Why?
I would invest it in a new segment, like label because that would be the natural way to progress.

3 am print consultant?
Unfortunately, I have not had any consultant.

One person who impressed you with wisdom. Why?
Narendra Modi for the way he conveys his plans both at the micro and the macro levels.

What’s the first thing you do on entering the office?
I have my coffee.

When you see a great piece of print created by your competitor, what is your reaction?
We analyse it and see how we can bring that kind of creativity into our jobs.
