The Industrial Product Printer of the Year category of the PrintWeek India Awards 2019 recognises industrial applications, including printed electronics, membrane switches, signs, labels for garments, vehicle graphics like decals, etc., produced using offset, digital imaging, or screen printing processes on a range of paper, paperboard or plastic or combination of the three.

Noel D’Cunha, managing editor of PrintWeek India, said, “Industrial product printing is one of the key ways to demonstrate the power of branding in the consumer market. This segment demands unique print applications that blend in with the various components that the product is fabricated with, enabling it to look visually appealing and attractive.”

The Industrial Product Printer of the Year award recognises exceptional and innovative prints on products, which provide exclusive look and feel for brand visual and delivers that ‘must buy’ feel with great impact.

“We have been observing various sustainable innovations in this segment on applications such as counter-top display and free standing units, where corrugation has stepped in as an alternative,” added D’Cunha.

Last year, Mumbai-based Brandmark Solutions was the winner in the category during the 10th edition of the Awards held in Mumbai on 29 November 2018. The shortlisted companies in this category were Amol Associates, Spectrum Scan, and Viraj Prints.
