Vertex started its business when positives were in vogue, but Ankit Kamani, director at Vertex says, it had the best equipment in Creo Scitex to deliver the best result, saving time for its clients, who were designers, and print and publishing houses in Rajkot. “Over the years we have updated our technology. We invested in CTP technology to consolidate our pre-process business,” says Kamani.

According to our official auditors, Vertex’s expenditure on staff increased by 74.64%, and though its fixed assets decreased by 18.63%, its net current asset increased by 45.66%, resulting in an overall net worth increase by 49.22%, being the highest in the category.

Vertex’s return on capital employed has increased by 29.35%, with a corresponding increase in profit as percentage of sales increased by 1.32%, being the highest in the category.

Even the expenditure on staff as percentage of sales increased by 6.52%, again the highest in the category.
The rest of the numbers, too, reveal increases, which as the balance sheet shows, the company has tried to remain at the forefront of the pre-press business.
