PrintPack 2022 Product Watch: VioGreen Plus
During the PrintPack show, TechNova Imaging Systems showcased a range of the company’s latest offerings. One of the highlights was the company’s TechNova’s VioGreen Plus.

The popular violet photopolymer CTP plate, manufactured in technical collaboration with Agfa-Graphics NV, VioGreen Plus is the new version of India's first chem-free hi-res violet photopolymer digital plate for high-quality newspaper and commercial printing. The revolutionary eco-friendly plate eliminates the use of water and developer. It is designed to offer the combined benefits of violet technology: high speed, long run-length and ease-of-use.
The highlight are:
- Elimination of water and developer from processing; minimises environmental impact
- Eliminates pre and post wash; makes the plate imaging process extremely simple and reliable
- Easier disposal of cleanout gum since developer is eliminated: reduces cost of disposal
- Smaller footprint of Clean Out Unit; saves space
- Reduces cleaning time of Clean Out Unit; saves time and money
