DQS to host webinar on colour management

DQS India has announced that it would be organising an online training on colour management from 20-21 April 2020.

The training programme, Print Colours Right with ISO 12647-2, will be conducted for four hours each day after 2pm. The eight-hour workshop will focus on understanding issues arising from pre-press to press and ways to effectively reduce errors and improve print productivity and quality.

Ganeshkumar V, AVP and national head -sales and marketing, DQS India, told PrintWeek, "The workshop will offer the latest in colour theory and applications. We will also focus on strategies to control colour for pre-media and pre-press departments responsible for reproducing files for output."

According to Ganeshkumar, the workshop will be helpful in understanding how to improve colour accuracy, assure brand colour, build colour managed workflows, control image colour, and maximise colour quality.

The course will cost Rs 2,360 (including GST) per person and can be accessed from desktop and mobile devices using the GoToWebinar application.
