The core focus of the workshop will be on consumer-facing, through experience zones, free consultations from interior designers, and technology tips about the making of smart homes, amongst others.
It will comprise of a masterclass session on home styling and decor by Kalpak Shah of Studio Course and design talks by Nishita Kamdar, Richa Bahl and Sarah Sham.
In addition to it, there will be expert sessions by Madhav Raman, Ketaki Pimpalkhare and Yash Soni.
The workshop will function in two phases; the first part will be open for all, while the second part will require an RSVP as a pre-requisite as it is exclusively modelled for the architecture and design professionals and students.
According to a Design Dekko representative, Connections 2019 provides a huge learning curve for students as it helps them showcase their works, projects and even engage with experts. The next phase of the event platform focuses on such opportunities for students – including mentorship programmes and dialogue exchange sessions with experts.
Design Dekko was launched in February 2019, in the presence and support of over 350 architects and designers.
