“Bhopal being our flagship edition, its anniversary is always a big occasion for us. This time, we wanted to make it an occasion to boost up the sentiments of one and all. So we built it on the ‘Re-invent Life’ theme, to spread positivity in the minds of both our advertisers as well as our readers. Our initial thought was to come out with a 64-page edition, but the response we received from our advertisers made it a 72-pager, beyond our expectations,” said Sumit Modi, MP state head, Dainik Bhaskar.

He said the issue contained advertisements from almost all the segments, with overwhelming representation coming from real estate, auto, electronics, FMCG, jewellery, lifestyle, government, and social advertisers.

Finally, the 72-page edition had 60% advertising and 40% editorial content. “The mix made it quite a readable edition. And the content we have put in makes it a collector’s edition,” Modi said.

The current circulation of Dainik Bhaskar Bhopal edition stands at 87% of the pre-Covid circulation.

“For us, the high point of this edition was receiving advertisement contributions from all the major and smaller, as well as old and new clients,” Modi concluded.
