BMPA’s webinar tomorrow to focus on team building and conflict management

Registration is open for the webinar to be hosted on 17 April 2021 at 2.30pm.

According to Abhishek Tiwari, the host who will drive the session, it is well known that a team can accomplish much more than the sum of its individual members. “Yet, frequently, groups of people are seen to achieve even less than what the individual members working alone could have accomplished.”

Research has indicated that teams, whose members are aligned with a clear purpose, feel a challenge in their task, have a strong sense of camaraderie and feel mutually responsible for the outcome produce superlative results. They also experience personal and professional growth.

“The program will help the participants to discover and experience the essentials of a winning team. The program will also ensure that the participants explore and experience dynamics of interpersonal behaviour, particularly of trust. The design of the program will also help the participants to identify their own role preferences while working in teams,” said Tiwari.

The webinar will focus on: Generating and understanding common goals (clarity of goals); Action planning and execution of tasks (Developing & Cascading Processes); Interpersonal relations and trust (interpersonal relations); Understanding preferences for the roles and tasks by team members (clarity of role); Creating and marinating win-win situation through a continuum of coordination and collaboration; Nuances of poor communication in teams and conflict management.
