No Rules Rules Netflix And The Culture Of Reinvention by Erin Meyer and Reed Hastings: The author speaks about the unique culture at Netflix. An important subject spoken about in the book is about leading with context rather than control, which is only possible if you have a team with high talent density.

How The Mighty Fall And Why Some Companies Never Give In by Jim Collins: The author speaks about the importance of not being arrogant no matter how big your company grows. It’s important not to take success for granted if we wish to continue to scale new heights. We must maintain the same amount of inquisitiveness, enthusiasm, and learning orientation that helped us grow.

Who Moved My Cheese by Dr Spencer Johnson: It’s a short and fun read explaining the importance of getting out of our comfort zone and adapting to change. One important point to ponder after reading this book is that the reality that exists is far better than the fear we build into our minds.

The Power Of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy: The author mentions the importance of filling our mind with the concepts of harmony, health, peace and goodwill, which will bring about wonders in our life. One of my favourite paragraphs in the book, which actually summarises the book is – Think good, and good follows. Think evil, and evil follows. You are what you think all day long.

Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone To Take Action by Simon Sinek: The author explains why “why” is more important than “what” we do. A company that understands the purpose behind what it does is better placed to succeed than companies that cannot define its “why”. As leaders, we must clearly communicate what we truly believe in every member working with us.
