Women-owned firms are the fastest growing

I am aware about GST rules and regulations. In fact, being in the business for so many years, I always upgrade myself with taxation and its labyrinthine rules. GST is a subject of my interest as I handle most of the accounts in our company.

In the past few months, I have attended the print association GST meeting in Ahmedabad. Also, I discussed about it with my other associates. I do not try to be dependent on CA as up to now, they are in the dark and do not have proper knowledge about the GST rules for printing industry; as well the filing procedure.

I feel GST will transform the printing business. In fact, those firms producing small job work for clients who worked without a legal bill system will be affected due to GST rules. I think this will be beneficial to our industry as the cut-throat pricing and competition ratio will be less.

Women-power

I think women owned-businesses are the fastest growing segments of our economy. I believe women have a profound opportunity to do more and deliver more. Women can - and should - reap the benefits that come from a value driven business for themselves, their families and their communities. That's why a working woman is being recognised for her dual contribution - her family and her business.

When women come together, amazing things transpire. Women can think differently about their business and take action to become part of a powerful community, sharing to create profound and extraordinary results.
