Technotrans enters into strategic pact with Shree Refrigerations

Shree Refrigerations, the Indian manufacturer of refrigeration systems has entered into a joint venture with Technotrans, the German manufacturer of dampening systems.

R G Shende, managing director of Shree Refrigerations, said: "With Technotrans in the process of establishing its own company in Chennai, the co-operation insures an even stronger local sales and service support for the vast and growing Indian print market.

He added: "The main purpose of the co-operation is to make these spray dampening systems fully available to the customers in the newspaper industry."

Sunil Mathew, general manager at Technotrans India, said: "With local sales and service support from Shree Refrigerations, the Technotrans products as spray dampening system will offer excellent opportunities of increased productivity, waste reduction and quality improvement."

This co-operation also opens up use of environmentally friendly technology that will save paper and drainage of fountain solution.

The agreement also enables Shree Refrigerations to co-operate with Technotrans in countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.
