With the Surecolor, Epson eyes display signage

At the Media Expo Delhi, Japanese manufacturer and a market leader in the wide-format segment, Epson, focused on display signage. The company claims that it is "numero uno" in India in the segment, with a market share of more than 21%.

Apart from its solutions for the signage segment, Epson also showcased wide-format printer Surecolor SC-T5270D, which can print documents at speeds of up to 2 A1 prints per minute, for wide range of applications, including architectural plans, maps, 3D rendering graphics, indoor signage and posters.

The Surecolor T-series prints as thin as 0.02mm with a line accuracy of +/-0.1%, making it an ideal printer for CAD and 3D renderings.

Meanwhile Epson, once again confirmed its support to PrintWeek India Awards 2015. The company will sponsor the PrintWeek India Label Printer of the Year Award.

Vasudevan L K, DGM - Prographic Products, Sales and Marketing, Epson India, said, "It has been a fantastic year for Epson. At an overall level, Epson India has grown by 23% and gone past the Rs.1000 crore turnover mark. We have ended FY 2014-15 at Rs 1078 crore. In each of the product categories, we have operated in, have seen tremendous growth. We are market share leaders in almost every category."
