“We used our new presses, the Miraflex II C flexographic press, and Dynastar gravure printing machine, as a platform to demonstrate how intelligent machines, integrated processes and intuitive handling are already increasing the efficiency of traditional flexographic and gravure printing,” said, Dr Jurgen Vutz, chairman, Windmoller & Holscher.

According to Vutz, “The Dynastar makes the traditional gravure printing process more cost effective, especially for smaller print run jobs. Whereas, the Miraflex II C impressed the customers with its ergonomics and features like Turboclean Advanced e-inking unit, wash-up system, and the fully integrated vision assistance system.”

Suhas Kulkarni, managing director, W&H India, said, "The converters in India are keeping an eye to upgrade themselves not just because the end user is demanding it but they have begun to see value in investing in more productive, efficient and sustainable solutions." He added, "The recent investments in high barrier films and also high-end gravure  and CI flexo presses complete with built-in colour management systems are signs that the market needs are being translated well."

Garant, a subsidiary of W&H, introduced the Triumph 2-T8 a ultra-modern block bottom bag machine at the W&H stall.
