Siddhivinayak Jumbo revs up its digital offering with new installs

Mumbai-based Siddhivinayak Jumbo Xerox (SJX) has revved up its digital offering after installation of a Konica Minolta LD 6501 and HP Designjet T1100. SJX until now catered to the copier segment.

Commenting on new acquisitions, Shailesh Karia, director at SJX, said: "The new installations has expanded our offering and productivity."

Karia added that the reasonably priced LD 6501 has increased his firms profitability. "The advantage of the digital press is that it is faster and more cost-effective for short-run work and that keeps our costs down. The customers appreciate the faster turnaround that we are now offering."

He added: "We have got good response from our clients, which in turn has boosted our volumes."

Besides the LD 6501, SJX is equipped with a Canon IR5000, a Ricoh and Xerox DC 3535.

SJX has installed the HP Designjet T1100 to cater to the print requirement of many real estate companies. "These clients require drawings of floor plans and with T1100 we are able to provide them the perfect floor plan."
