Richard Nichols appointed as CEO of Goss

Goss International Corporation announced the restructuring of its management by appointing Richard Nichols as chief executive officer of the company with immediate effect replacing Jochen Meissner.

According to the board at Goss International Corporation, the management team, headed by Nichols, will undertake  measures to stabilise and expand the Goss position in the industry.

Relying on Shanghai Electric’s support and Goss`s own distinctive capabilities, they will optimise the allocation of resources to enhance innovation and responsiveness to customers and market demands, within a culture that fosters an inspiring and challenging working environment.

According to Goss, this will propel the company to a new level of performance, to meet and exceed the strategic goals of the Board.

Meanwhile, Goss International has declared Drupa a success after taking orders for 11 web presses at the show. Although S L Kulkarni Cyril Graphics (SLKCG), representatives of Goss in India confirmed that none of the 11 orders were placed from India.

Besides Drupa announcement, SLKCG and Goss confirmed their sponsorship for “Newspaper Printer of the Year” Awards 2012.
