Tejas Tanna, director at Printmann Offset, said, “We wanted to shift our four-colour sheetfed press from the Navi Mumbai unit to our Mumbai unit as we felt the need of a five-colour press which could cater to jobs which required more than four-colour printing.”

Tanna added, “It made sense in adding a five- instead of four-colour press as we could print the multi-colour job in a single pass. We requested the Mitsubishi engineers to visit the site in US to inspect the press and after they gave us the confirmation we decided to purchase the Mitsubishi press.”

The press was supplied by Mitsubishi’s newly appointed Indian representative, Provin Technos for sheetfed presses.

Besides Mitsubishi press, Printmann Offset have also installed Rotatek Brava Press having six-colour offset units, one flexo unit and online die-cutting unit in June 2012. The Brava from Spanish press manufacturer is a unique semi-rotary and full-rotary press printing in wet-offset for the production of high quality labels.

Meanwhile, during the LMAI Avery Dennison Awards 2012, Printmann Offset won two awards in offset line and offset cosmetics. Also, during the Ricoh AIFMP National Awards 2012, Printmann Offset won two awards in the packaging (carton) and web-offset category.
