The company has also ordered DeakPack, Flexo Tools, Plato and FlexRIP as part of the complete workflow from Esko.

Deepanshu Goel, owner of Creative Graphics, said, “the flexo printing is growing at 25% to 30% annually and acquiring these machines was a part of our expansion plan. Being a part of one of the most growing segment, we do not want to miss out on opportunities.”

Established in 2001, the pre-press house supplies plates for flexo and letter printing presses around the country especially northern part of the country. Currently, the company produces plates with conventional system and a Kodak imager.

“The growth of the industry encourages people like us to invest more and to update our facility. As we will require more space to streamline our operations, the existing 200 sq/metres facility of the company, located at sector 8, Noida is being renovated whereas the new facility at sector 63 is under construction.” added Goel.

As for opportunities in flexo packaging, Goel said, "short-run jobs are very much possible and you can print on any kind of substrate like corrugation, poly and paper. With the rise of supermarkets, the demand of labels and packaging has gone up and when FDI is approved by the government, it will increase exponentially."

Goel looks forwards to more installations of flexo printing presses this year and hopes for 30% to 35% growth for his company.
