Parksons targets book publishers with Indigo

Mumbai-based premium print firm, Parksons Graphics has invested in an HP Indigo 5600 to cater to the on-demand shortrun book business. This is the first digital production press at the print firm.

Animesh Kejriwal, director at Parksons Graphics, said, “The digital side of the company is growing rapidly and the HP Indigo 5600 is significantly faster. We are witnessing increase in the requirement of on demand book printing. To cater to short run jobs like brochures, catalogue with special effect we felt that Indigo 5600 is the best option.”

Indigo 5600 is capable of printing on a range of media which includes uncoated and coated papers and is equipped with the ElectroInk UV red which creates print that is only visible under UV light.

Kejriwal said, “We will be able to produce jobs with special anti-counterfeiting features for our high-end premium clients.”

The Indigo 5600 was installed at its Mumbai plant and the function was attended by key clients and well-wishers.
