Gupta was speaking at the PrintPack road show organised by IPAMA at Hotel Orchid in Mumbai on 16 December 2016. The event saw in attendance members of Bombay Master Printers Association (BMPA), Mumbai Mudrak Sangh (MMS) and Maharashtra Mudran Parishad (MMP).

The IPAMA president, HV Sheth said, “The 2015 edition of PrintPack generated business worth USD 290 million for the exhibitors and USD 510 million worth of enquiries were received. There were 85,000 visitors for the show. With the multi-city road shows and other promotional efforts, we expect more than one-lakh printers from across the country to benefit from the show.”

Manugraph's chairman Sanat Shah spoke about how Indian manufacturers can produce quality products for the world and how its talent is better than that of China. “The manufacturers should use the platform of PrintPack to showcase their abilities to produce superior products.”

Shah added, "I have been advocating that the apex bodies of manufacturers and printers should work together so as to have one single exhibition that effectively serves the industry. I request all the stakeholders to think about it."

The presidents of the three associations – BMPA’s Mehul Desai, MMS’s Tushar Dhote and MMP’s Balasaheb Ambekar – urged the print CEOs to attend the show in Noida.
