Nominees announced for Kyoorius Awards

Kyoorius Advertising & Digital Awards 2015 will see 163 campaigns competing for the Blue Elephants and the Black Elephants. The 163 nominees, who have won the baby elephants, have been shortlisted from a total of 1419 entries.

The grand award night is scheduled for 22 May. 
 
According to Rajesh Kejriwal, founder CEO, Kyoorius, the number of entries this year are almost twice. "Given Kyoorius and D&AD’s stringent criteria, the 163 baby elephant winners have a reason to for celebrate to have made it till here. The results from the Kyoorius Digital Awards are very encouraging, and it’s exciting to watch this industry mature and grow. The jury members responded to the originality and freshness of ideas on display," he said.
 
The Baby Elephant winners include names like DDB Mudra for the Poster Advertising, and Press Advertising and Outdoor Advertising; and Ogilvy for Billboard campaign. Under the Outdoor Advertising (Ambient) category BBDO India has been nominated for its Visa Saree campaign. The campaign uses 5.5 metre sarees, which have the Hindi barakhadi, muliplication tables and numbers printed on them. The 2015 edition of Kyoorius awards had new categories like Branded Film Content and Entertainment, TV Cinema and Title Sequences, Show Programme Promotion, Tactical Advertising for Press and Film and 'Advertising for Good', for campaigns and movements that promote social awareness.
