The installation took place three months ago. Jumbo has printed around 30,000 sheets of 12x18, 13x19 and 13x30-inches on the machine. The machine prints at a speed is 65 A4 pages per minute at a print resolution is 2400x2400dpi.
Biren Karia, the owner of Jumbo, said, “We installed the digital printing press because of its quality and depth in print. We tried two Japanese manufacturers and one American, but found Canon to be suitable for our requirement.”
Jumbo Xerox was established around three decades ago by Khimji Karia. “It was a normal photocopy shop initially. Gradually, we added printing presses and wide-format printers,” said Karia.
Jumbo Xerox prints marketing materials, catalogues, brochures, profiles of companies and other short-run jobs. The firm recently installed a HP Pagewide XL4000 for architecture, maps and other artistic work.
