Mumbai’s Aakarsh swears by Ricoh technology

Aakarsh Print-O-Graph based in Andheri (East), Mumbai seemed to have found their expertise in Ricoh technology. After investing in Ricoh Pro c7100x with white and clear in 2015, the digital print company went for two more Ricoh kits in 2016 — Ricoh Pro 8100s and Ricoh Pro C9100.

Aakarsh, a partnership venture between Shaji Punnan and Arjun Dangar started in 2010 with a Xerox DC 250 and Ricoh 1075. Both came with more than 15 years of industry experiences. Though they had worked with digital production engines of other brands, when it came to investing in a production engine, Aakarsh opted for Ricoh.

The company installed its first Ricoh engine, Pro C901s, in 2012. Satisfied with the machine’s performance and the service support they decided to invest in Ricoh Pro c7100x with white and clear in 2015.

According to Punnan, Aakarsh decided to go for Ricoh Pro c7100x because the machine supports versatile media, including texture, OHP, synthetic film, stickers, among others. The machine can print media size up to 13x27-inches and duplex printing up to 360gsm. The machine also offers the fifth colour support for special printing on coloured papers and MetPET.

For Arjun Dangar, the reason for being loyal to Ricoh is simple. The print firm is happy with the products. Plus, Aakarsh is also happy with Ricoh’s sales team and service team support.
